Delaware Democratic Party Statement on Sarah McBride's campaign for U.S. House

NEW CASTLE - Delaware Democratic Party Chair Betsy Maron has issued the following statement on State Senator Sarah McBride becoming the party's presumptive nominee for U.S. House.

"This election year has showcased the talent within the Delaware Democratic Party and there is no race that has underscored that more than the race for Congress. Eugene Young has run an energizing and positive campaign rooted in the values of the Democratic Party. He is a dedicated and compassionate leader, who is only beginning his public service in Delaware.
