At this meeting, the 4th Rep. District will reorganize its Democratic Committee. The terms of all current District Committee members are complete and all seats will be up for re-election. New members are encouraged to join. Any registered Democrat who resides in the 4th Rep. District, has resided in the state of Delaware for at least one year, and has not been a member of another political party for at least one year is eligible to join.
The program will begin at 5:30 PM with a Dutch Treat dinner, followed by the election at 6:30 PM, and a business meeting to elect new committee officers. According to Democratic Party rules, Delaware’s district committees must reorganize every four years following a presidential election.
