14th Rep. District Committee Meeting and DSC Delegate Election

Event Information

Jason Hoover, chair of Rank the Vote Delaware, will be the featured speaker at the March 12 meeting of the 14th Representative District Democratic Committee. The expert in ranked choice voting will discuss “what it is, how it works, and why it’s so important for building a more representative democracy.” The program will begin at 5 p.m. with a Dutch-treat dinner at Iron Hill Brewery in Rehoboth, followed by Hoover’s remarks at 6:00, and committee business including delegate selection to the Democratic State Convention at 6:30.

The 14th Rep. District Committee will also elect its State Convention Delegates at this meeting. These delegates will go on to vote at the 2025 Democratic State Convention (DSC) on June 21. Any registered Democrat who resides in District 14 and has not been a registered member of another political party within the past years is eligible to serve as a State Convention Delegate. The District Committee may also elect up to 5 Alternates.
