Kent County Reorganization

The Kent County Democratic Party quadrennial reorganization shall be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., in the Levy Court Chambers of the Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 Bay Road, in Dover.

Pursuant to the provisions of Kent County Rule 5.2 B each Representative District Officer and each District Committee person of each Representative district in Kent County shall be a voting delegate.

Kent County Rule 5.2 D provides for the delegates to elect by majority vote of those present a County Chair, 2 Vice Chairs (gender balanced), a Treasurer and a Secretary.

Additionally, Kent County Rule 5.2 G provides for the delegates to elect an At-Large Representative to the State Democratic Executive Committee.

Any individual who is a resident of Kent County and who has been a registered Democrat for a one year period prior to the election may stand for election.
